Discover Jesus Now (https://www.discoverjesusnow.com) is an online learning site. This page explains what information we keep about you and how we use it.
What we collect
- Your name and email address, which you give us when you create an account.
- If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and Google account ID, shared by Google with your permission. We do not receive your Google password or access your Gmail, contacts or files.
- Your password, stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form that cannot be read back.
- Your course activity on this site, such as lessons you have started or finished.
- Basic technical records, such as the time of sign-ins and the internet address used, to keep accounts secure.
How we use it
- To create and run your account and let you sign in.
- To send you emails about your account, such as confirming your email address or resetting your password.
- To show your progress in courses.
- To protect the site from misuse.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your information.
- We do not share it with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
- We do not show advertising.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies only to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
